Locum tenens coverage is sought on an immediate and ongoing basis to support the facility's inpatient psychiatric programs.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services on a day shift schedule, totaling 40 hours per week on-site in Connecticut. The caseload is divided approximately evenly between adult patients and child and adolescent patients, with clinicians seeing 10-12 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management across both patient populations. No call coverage is required for this assignment, and prescriptive authority is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
